Greenovate Boston

Take Simple Steps

Greenovate Boston is a movement—a way for everyone in the City of Boston to work together to improve our communities, businesses and planet through our daily choices.  Stemming from Mayor Thomas M. Menino’s plan to reduce Boston’s greenhouse gas emissions by 25% by 2020 and 80% by 2050, the aim is to motivate people, businesses and employees to take simple steps that will help us get there, and we’re already on our way!  Whether signing more people up for the City’s Hubway bikeshare or getting them energy-efficient lightbulbs through our energy program Renew Boston, Greenovate is all about getting everyone involved and excited about making Boston a healthier, greener place to live, work and play.

P.S.  This is one of the original Cool Globes that got re-purposed for the Boston exhibit.  From "Tiny Greeny" to Greenovate Boston.  It's really all about the same thing but now it ties into this cool initiative going on right now in Boston.  - Liam
